Giving up was not something I was fond of. But is it really fair to call myself giving up when it is not me who controls my own actions?

My last memories before becoming... whatever I am... I can't clearly remember much except my name, Mikazuchi Setsumi and some memories.
The rest... is fear and the flashing red light shining into my eyes.

But perhaps this is me having to repent for everything that I've done to others. By being the ice queen that I am, I've never accepted anyone's warmth, not even my sister's. I would always think that I'm better than anyone and everyone, even though that was clearly not the case. I would... never even be considerate about the lives of others because I thought the world simply revolved around me.

We lived in a time where our home, the empire was blooming beautifully. I could remember all the sensations and bliss I used to feel, but those sweet memories only lasted until our home was attacked... I was kidnapped.

But, in a way I'm glad. I'm glad that it wasn't my sister, Fuyuki that had to face this fate. She would not have been able to handle being ravaged physically and mentally every single day for the entertainment of others.

Although I am not dead, this body I own now simply isn't mine. While I do have my
thoughts and feelings, I can't do anything but watch through these lifeless eyes.
