Kirin

Kirin was loved. Her unique hair color, her beautiful eyes, her doll-like appearance, everything about her was special. Ever since she was a child, she'd always have everyone's eyes on her. Adored by her parents, they would always be with her, take care of her, and held her hands...

...Except the "love"  given by her parents was not genuine love.

Kirin's parents only saw her as simply a play-doll and nothing more.
Like a caged bird, she was never taught how to read or write. All she knew was how to cry. She could not speak a word, as she did not know any. But any time she would cry in front of her parents, she would get physically attacked because "Good dolls do not talk back".

As she got older, her parents simply started to get bored of her.
One day, her father decided to drug his own daughter, beat her up, and threw her into a river all because he did not want her anymore.

Only knowing how to cry, her tears blackened by her wounds flowed endlessly as if her heart was bleeding. She completely lost the will to live.

But life did not abandon her. A travelling Kyouka happened to find her unconscious at a riverbed in a forest, treated her would-be fatal injuries, and decided to take care of her, and teach her the true meaning of living.
